| Tanks
Beginning
May 1 of 2005 we will provide AL 80 tanks as our complimentary
tank.
All
of our nitrox tanks will continue to be steel.
Night
Dives
Divers
doing night dives are required to have the following
on the night dive:
A
primary dive light (4-D cell minimum or equivalent)
A Back-up dive light (2-C cell
minimum recommended)
A tank light (cylume stick, tank beacon, ect.)
Divers without the
above equipment will not be allowed in the water at
night, no exceptions. Twilight dives do not apply
(within 20 minutes of sunset).
Winter
Diving
It is possible that
trips scheduled December through April may be canceled
due to poor weather. This is the time of year when
we get our high swells and winter rain storms. Please
assist us by providing us with a phone number where
you can be reached the day before or the morning of
the trip, so that we may contact you in advance of
a canceled trip and possibly save you a drive to the
dock.
You will want to
be clear on what your cancellation policy is with
your hotel if using one; one with a credit on cancellation
is obviously preferred. We do not recommend non-refundable
plane tickets.
It is our goal to
cause our customers as little inconvenience as possible
when a trip cancellation has to occur. We try to give
24 hours notice when it is obvious that the sea state
will not be conducive to diving. Sometimes we are
able to give 48 hours, on some occasions we can't
be clear of conditions until the day of.
We never charge
your deposit card in advance, there is never a charge
or fee to our passengers when we have to cancel. Deposits
already paid by Pay Pal or a charter deposit are 100%
refundable when there is a weather cancellation.
